“Thank you” to all of our friends and family for making our wedding day special. We had a wonderful time and hope all in attendance did as well! I hope to have some pictures online soon!
A special thanks to everyone that made the long trip from out of state as well as those from northern and western Michigan!
We’re lookingo forward to our life together and sharing that life with all of our friends and family. Thank you again!

I’m in my basement, almost ready to head up for bed, when I hear a “pop” outside. I figure it’s a firecracker, and go out with
Kacey to investigate. Initially, there’s nothing going on. I walked back into my yard, and when I turned around, I noticed a figure standing across the street by a tree. My first guess what that somebody really had to “go.” I took a step forward, crunching some leaves. The man turned and I saw his uniform… the local police… holding a shotgun. His partner came in to view and asked if I heard a “gunshot.” I told him about the noise I came out to investigate as their radios began to squalk. Kacey and I went inside as they continued to patrol the neighborhood. This morning I checked a few local news sources and found nothing about the night’s events.
Personally, I plan to
never use firecrackers in my neighborhood… ever.

This Saturday and Sunday are the last races of the
WHRRI SCCA Club Racing Season. Tickets are cheap and there’s no better way to get close to the action. This weekend promises to be exciting as the points race is close and the weather is supposed to be unpredictable.
There’s officially 1 week left until our wedding. Yes, I’m excited. However Gina and I are both ready to
be married… a year and a half of planning and anticipation wears on you after a while.

Last Friday,
we played a show at Scalici’s with
Facture and
Dirty New 6. We were well received, and
Scalici’s asked asked us to come back again. However, 2 of the band members’ upcoming nuptuals may delay that a bit. 😉
Our set was recorded by Pete (from Rock City Studios) and is available from the
Rogerbox site.
Saturday, I decided to cut my lawn. Normally, this is quite uneventful, but, as I was finishing up the push-mowing part, a friggin’ cricket bit me! A cricket! It hurt! Apparently they like cotton and wool, especially when it’s sweaty or stained by food. He just wanted a snack, and got a big chunk of my ankle instead. Bastard.

As mentioned
earlier, our respective bachelor/bachelorette parties were Saturday, September 13th. Some
photos were taken at the bachelor party… nothing incriminating. If special interest may be the last image in the gallery (Thanks
George). And, no, I did not hurl… I was pleasantly drunk the entire afternoon/evening… well, o.k. silly drunk. Thanks again to everyone that came out!
